Great business for both clubs imo. Halsall is supposed to be exceptional. I think the only way we should let Connor go is for a similar deal two up and coming players. Hopefully we’ll start to see a bit of movement now.

If we can move some players on I’d be calling at Warrington & Leeds. They’re desperate cap wise. Few players out and we can bring players like Walker, Holmes & Longstaff for less than their real cap value.

Wonder if that rules of the signing of Connor for Hudds.

centres they have Cudjoe, Halsall, Bibby, Marsters and Naiqama.

FB and HB, they have Lolohea, Pryce, Fages and Russell.

Surely they don't need or can afford Connor.

Warrington looks his only option, think he will stay at Hull, this year and have a pick of clubs with more salary cap space in may.

Have said it before and will say again. Conner should sign a new deal or he should be sold. Its no good keeping him this year for him to leave for free next year. THAT WOULD BE COMMERCIAL INCOMPETANCE. I personally think we should sell because he is not consistent enough.

Only be sold if the deal is right for Hull and we have a halfback lined up, no good getting a load of cash if their is no one to spend it on.

I know next year is seem as a year of transition (again), but it's still important to improve to get the fans back, not sure we can afford another season like last season and losing Connor and not replacing him with equal quality would not help that.

I see what you are saying about being inconsistant, but last year he was our only threat, so often easy to stop Connor when you don't have to worry about any other threats, you would hope this season with Hoy, Trueman and Dwyer, teams have to do more than stop Connor, which should see him being more consistent.

I'd prefer us to keep Connor, but all the noises are that he's off. Just hope we've got a replacement signed up if that's the case

Can't see that, think Newcastle plan to have Pryce and KPP for 2024.

Where have you heard he is off, not seen anything for a while and the main rumour was Wardle coming here?

Think Newcastle would like them both early.

Media seem to think he's off, as well as the usual ITK online.

Hope he stays but I'd be surprised if he was

According to the Warrington board they are close to signing a half back (possibly Drinkwater) so rules him out going there.

I honestly think he will stay and we may possibly bring in a second rower and that will be us done and with so many out of contract then we will see a big recruitment drive start this coming season.

Not sure if true but I heard from someone yesterday the deal could be Connor to Giants with Matty English going the other way to you.

Would be gutted to see Matty go but he is a Hull fan and best mates with Darnell I’m told.

We’ve signed Harry Rushton for 2023 and Wilson and Trout seem to have gone ahead of him in pecking order so could be true.
