But the 4th isn't the deadline, the 1st is isn't it? AP has made his own announcing deadline, which happens to fall the day after season passes go on sale. If you're not going to announce anything on the 4th, why mention the date at all?

The way I look at is if we've made the signings that have been mentioned on here then AP has spent a lot of money on transfers so the guy can say what he likes when he likes as far as I'm concerned.

When has the club had this much investment in such a short period of time.

What's the difference if he names the players now or next week as long as there signed and will be in the Black & White shirt next season..

there is no difference in reality, but the perception he has given all along is that we'd have a six page spead in the HDM lauding our new recruits (or something of that order)

The only thing I've ever read is we'll announce signings in September after the anti-tampering deadline.

And I'll also point out that the HDM isn't known for reporting exactly what was said.

I think most have automatically expected a surge of announcements after the deadline, the truth is as already pointed out most clubs have a clause stating that a player can't announce what Club he is signing for until after their commitments at their present club are finished..

I'm sure AP specifically says September the 4th in some interview or other. Perhaps he just got his dates mixed up and was inferring the signings would be announced after the deadline at some point? Because the 4th isn't the deadline we've just all assumed they would be announced on the 4th since it was specifically mentioned?

Wilf.Thought you would come up with something like fans booing their players,most stayed and gave the players as good a send off as they could,unlike a certain team that plays at the kc whose players had to do the end of season lap of honour in front of the rovers fans after hull fc had been beaten in the play offs 21-4,and all cleared off home,remember.?

Dont feed him..! Been a bit of a bad weekend for them all, We did them a favour and they still messed it up, Even Agar will finish up above them I'd feel pretty sick if that happened too...!

Win or loose we'll all have a chance to send off the players not only next weekend but during Our HOME PLAYOFF TIE...

Most Hull fans don't accept mediocrity, that's the big different between the clubs and the reason why Rovers haven't even appeared in a major final, never mind winning one in over 25 years.
