Never have Bowden and Shaul, but Wakey took those two.

Someone would sign Taylor in SL, but not on the wage he is now.

Only be sold if the deal is right for Hull and we have a halfback lined up, no good getting a load of cash if their is no one to spend it on.

I know next year is seem as a year of transition (again), but it's still important to improve to get the fans back, not sure we can afford another season like last season and losing Connor and not replacing him with equal quality would not help that.

I see what you are saying about being inconsistant, but last year he was our only threat, so often easy to stop Connor when you don't have to worry about any other threats, you would hope this season with Hoy, Trueman and Dwyer, teams have to do more than stop Connor, which should see him being more consistent.

Absolutely.

I'll be disappointed to see Connor leave but if the club decides to cash in now, we don't want another situation where we a desperately scrambling around for a replacement and end up with an expensive flop.

Hudds have released Levi on compassionate grounds.

Fages to 9, Connor to 7?

Or he stays here

I think Leigh might or maybe Wakey, but we might have to supplement his salary. Injuries have hampered career.

I'll bet you now if his contract runs out at Hull, he will get another SL contract

Given that he gets paid either way, and the need to commute or relocate, what is the incentive for Taylor to move to Leigh? Game time and shop window doesn't seem a very likely motivation, given where he is in his career. Play a few more games for the club you love and and hopefully leave them on relative high note to pursue other business interests... feels like a no brainer to me.

Also, if he is still SL quality why not just accept he's now poor value but can still do a job if you'd be paying the above-value part of his wages anyway? From everything Pearson has said, it seems reasonable to assume you're not massively constrained by the salary cap for 2023. I mean, if you get a fee for Connor, I suppose that may change things.

"You can join the some of the competition’s most exciting players like Jake Connor, Chris Satae and Joe Lovodua, as we look to reawaken the MKM Stadium next season."

Could be just a load of marketing spiel to help shift membershisp but it's still good to see Jake's name mentioned in the article. Hopefully means he is still heavily involved in our plans moving forward next season. Obviously still time for things to change though.

Just to add to that. Bowden was very good for trinity when he signed from you guys. Was quite impressed by him and seemed to get better as the season went on and he got more game time. Certainly pleased he’s with us next season.

Though I think sometimes players stagnate at clubs and sometimes a move just kick starts a players form.

Pleased the move has worked out for him and Trinity. Hope he stays injury free and continues his good form.

If Jake stays which I hope he does and with the addition of a quality second row I'd be satisfied with the squad for next season.
