As for the actual appointment I posted my views last night and I still feel the same. He is young and inexperienced and is learning all the time. He's a good guy and the players are on his side. But if we come top 6, win a playoff or 2 and do okay in the cup then you can't really argue with the decision to keep him again.
I think this shows that he was England's first choice too. I can't see why else the club would have moved so early. Also, now the coach is in place I imagine we will start to see some recruitment for next year in the next couple of months.

Good summing up. As I've said I think the decision was a month too early but maybe for the reason you suggest.
