If anyone hasn't heard of Johnson, the youngster keeping him out of the side, go to youtube and take a look at 'Shaun Johnson try vs Broncos '.

Hi Andy

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

He's having a decent game, easily the best half on the field.

I know he can play well but I wasn't particularly impressed with Maloney today. Not sure why everyone is only citing Johnson as the reason Seymour is out the side, when Seymour could easily replace Maloney at 6. In my opinion, our new regime wouldn't have signed Seymour, McKinnon or Heremaia, but we'll make the best out of the situation, and hopefully the other new signings we make will compliment them well.

Disagree that the new regime would have signed anyone different as there frankly aren't many quality players around and the exchange rate/tax laws means the UK isn't as attractive the Aussies/Kiwi's as it was a few years ago.

McKinnon is the only signing I'm concerned about, as we've been there and done that with injury prone signings before.

The text I received from my mate in Australia this morning said that Seymour didnt do anything and that we would better served telling him to stay with the Warriors reserve team. I cant comment, having not seen him.

Heremaia and Seymour are as good as anyone else has signed this season. I'd have Heremaia over Hohaia at 9 and with a bit of settling in Seymour will be very good for us. These players know what they are doing and NRL teams never hesitate to bring through their young players when they get injuries rather than shuffle players about. I've seen 5 or 6 halves/FB's deputise this season and all have been pretty good. Thompson at the Cowboys and Stig at the Knights being the best 2 IMO.

McKinnon will be good if he stays injury free.

seymour is a much better player than either dobson or green and they look OK in SL. heremia will add another dimension to our game and push houghton to improve. mckinnon will be injured most of the time

I also think Seymour will be fine in SL. Its not the NRL (see Jake's comment re Green and Dobson). I have reservations abot Mckinnon too and cant see that he'll be any better than Phelps.
