Its about fulfilling our obligations to get fixtures played. Its not a game I'd be expecting to win currently anyway so might as well get it done and have as many players available for the derby as possible.
We've been cleared to play and can legitimately assemble a squad so unless we want a 24-0 walkover awarded against us then we presumably have to play.
FWIW it seems the club have done everything they can to get the game on rather than cynically trying to play the system which should be lauded.
