Whilst i understand the argument about not playing Connor leaving him out/resting him for this game sends out the wrong message to others in the team in that the club considers him a golden boy. Even though we have injuries we should still be able to blood one or two of the younger players and if anyone is rested it should be Satae, Sao or even Houghton I expect Connor will play and we will field a strong side with a couple of the younger players on the bench and like others have said get the game won and use the bench interchanges well.
Jake Connor, Adam Swift, Carlos Tuimavave, Josh Griffin, Ligi Sao, Danny Houghton, Chris Satae, Andre Savelio, Manu Ma’u, Jordan Lane, Joe Lovodua, Brad Fash, Ben McNamara, Jack Brown, Jordan Johnstone, Josh Bowden, Connor Wynne, Mitieli Vulikijapani, Aidan Burrell, Charlie Severs, Harvey Barron

If these are all available that's just 6 first teamers missing (McIntosh, Reynolds, Gale, Taylor, Evans, Cator), probably as good as it's been this year.
For me there's quite a few options for the 17 but I'd be tempted to go
Connor Swift Griff Carlos Mitch Lovodua McNamara Sao Johnstone Bowden Mau Savellio Fash
Wynne Brown Severs Burrell
Think Mau will get another run out and Lane maybe rested with not doing much training up until the Huddersfield game. Think Wynne on the bench to replace Carlos after so long and same with Severs for Mau. Satae possibly rested give Burrell a run out. Also personally I'd prefer to leave Houghton out so he's fresh for Wigan with Johnstone at 9. Could even go with Mitch at centre in place of Griff with Baron on the wing. Its quite an interesting puzzle and even with the players missing looks strong and in fairness to Sheffield should be more than good enough to get through to the next round if the attitude is right which will be another test and see if they've learnt from the Cas outing.
Though I have a feeling that BH may well go with the strongest possible 13 and get the game under control early and hopefully then use the interchanges wisely with a youthful bench or go all out with his strongest 17 to build momentum. I'm sure I seem to remember in an interview where he said he would always go with his strongest team and only rest players if they have injury niggles
Staying at the exclusive 5 star Featherstone Hotel/pub, Friday & Saturday night. Landlord informed me his bar is open until 1am both evenings. Should be fun. Over this hurdle and 2 games away from Londinium and the classy looking new Spurs stadium. That would be a weekend to look forward to.
I think Channel 4 should run a spin-off show, ‘WIZEB’s Rugby League Weekends’!
If we beat Sheffield, - Home Quarter Final would be nice - Triple Header Semi Final and Women’s Final at Elland Road on a Saturday afternoon would be immense - almost 40 years to the day of our Cup Final Replay win!!! - Final at White Hart Lane, best stadium in the country - I’m going to anyway.
Pleased the Cup Final’s moved back to May. The August date always affected the League run in.
Really looking forward to this one, the forecast is full sun, should be couple of thousand FC fans there and a short drive from home. Glad BH is going with a full strength side.
