Looking at our fixtures in the upcoming weeks and obvious lack of confidence, AGAIN. It appears to me as though we’re on the cusp of a long losing run, AGAIN.
If so and we’re in the relegation scrap, this teams brittle confidence won’t be enough to save them. I said after the game Friday, I’m not one for knee jerk reactions but another loss now should see the end of Hodgson’s tenure but it won’t happen and we’ll stumble on regardless, rudderless.
The annoying thing for me, is that it’s been going on for years now. Even back to back cup wins masked our crap league performances, when we should in fact have had back to back Grand finals. Quite what should happen to get FC out of this malaise, I’m at a loss to comprehend. It should certainly start at the top, AP and Clarkie should be very worried because I bloody well am.
