That's great news, done well signing NZ hookers in the last, hopefully make a big an impact as Swain and Tony.

Not bad for a skint club signing the current Kiwi 9

Think it's a really smart signing, imagine if Balmforth gets a chance and does well, when Trueman is back could line up like this

6 Hoy
7 Trueman
9 Houghton
13 Brown
14 Balmforth

That's will Smith as back up too.

As good as Houghton was last season I'd like to see us be less dependent on him as our starting 9 next year.

If everyone stays fit, we could start with Brown and have Balmforth or Smith on the bench

I agree, great signing for us, reading the Bulldogs fans' page, when he left they all wanted him to stay and rated him highly, at halfback as well as hooker. Definitely optimistic now, Ashworth and Okunbor in the back row, good front row and depth in the halves, look to be in a much better position this preseason than last. I also think Pele will be a force, he is fast and as big as Kasiano. If we hit preseason right, there won't be many packs relishing a match up against ours.

Ridiculous shouldn't be allowed to move back and forth from country to country esp when samoa made the world cup final this time last year !

Tyson Frizell is making his debut for Tonga at the weekend after previously winning caps for Wales and Australia.

I'll watch it on Kayo or Fox Sports live mate.
The killer is missing out on the 8 NRL games over a usual Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun morning for the next 5+ months.
What else am I meant to do?
