I think Bateman is on the way down so for marquee money I wouldn't bother, only 30 but he's played a lot of games at a very high level. Also yet another RL player who gets homesick when it suits moving clubs like our new centre Mr Hardaker.

I'm fearing the worst today. I think we might be on the end of a wire backlash from their post Wembley blues last week. I know we won last week and are slowly improving but leeds were god awful. Fingers crossed the win will have changed our mentality. A good start Imperative today

It will be ok as we are showing progress under Grix….he has won just the same as Smith did but stopped the batterings…he has benefited from loan signings and a couple of permanent signings but that’s enough for some on here.He should have gone with Smith and I hope he goes at end of season.

Missing him and Chan going to make a huge difference to our side. Gardner will get 5-10 minutes at the end of the game and the rest of our pack will have to play more minutes because of it.

Sadly, we’re still in the “as long as we put in a performance” phase. We’ll likely lose but if we can make it a game, most fans will see that at progression.

So no Chan and we have a ready replacement in Cartwright and then moves Sao,who according to reports had a good game at prop,to 13…..surely Cartwright could have done a 30min spell but hey ho,I understand that call but why Move Sao???

Cartwright is obviously struggling with jetlag and had 1 session here. No point forcing him to the 17 when he's not ready.

13 and prop are basically the same with how we play. Not like we're asking Sao to play like Sculthorpe. Wouldnt matter if we named Fash/Herman/Sao at 13, no one would notice a difference

I’m old fashioned,I like a ball playing 13 but they are a thing of the past now.I know what you mean but when he plays there,he thinks he is sculpt…what’s up with Chan?

Disappointing that Cartwright hasn’t made the 17 but if he’s struggling with jet lag and following last weeks team performance then understandable.
When was the last time we had almost the same 17 the following week.

Doesn’t say he is struggling or anything on Hull live.Just thought with Chan out it would be ideal for him.
