I for one wish him well... One thing is for sure despite what a lot on here said he was not sacked or under any sort of investigation...Good luck Mr Rule!
I fine post, and I am sure many Hull supporters are in a similar position.
If I heard a presenter/guest on Radio Humberside's sport show, correctly, he stated that there will a full/ in depth article from Richard Agar in tomorrow's Hull Daily Mail, in which he goes into detaills about things @ Hull and his plans etc., for the club and he has no intention of leaving.
Well, if that is correct then I suspect many will be saving a fair bit of money next season, me included. I have reluctantly stopped listening to/reading what he has to say on the subject of his plans for Hull.
Thing is though, Agar can say what the hell he likes and it doesn't change a thing. The only time to get upset is if Pearson comes out and says Agar is staying. Until then, all Agar is doing is getting on with his job.
I'd be very disappointed if O'Meley was bandying about such ultimatums, after all, it was the professionalism of him and Fitz that's been lauded since they arrived.
In fairness - until the Exiles game, his work ethic and commitment have been second to none, and I do think it's an injury that's caused the loss of form. That said, no matter how much Mark and the others pledge commitment to Agar and give their all individually during matches, that's still not enough to take the team to where it needs to be.
It's Agar's inability to create an invincible team out of the committed individuals that's caused the stagnation - and it's amazing that the likes of Fitz, Ogre and Long won't admit this (although I do think Long alluded to it with his "player's coach" comment).
An O'Meley in your team makes your team a deal stronger, but not at any price. No individual... etc, etc. I'd hate him to leave, saying that.

Im only saying what i heard, doesnt mean to say its true,im sure all will be revealed in the coming weeks, seem to remember earlier in the season we was all saying that he was the best thing since sliced bread, now some arent bothered wether he stays or goes, got to say tho wether hes playing with a injury ive no idea but his fform has dipped big time since exiles game, saying that tho he is valuable to our squad.
To be fair Wolfie, he still is "the best thing since sliced bread" as far as props in a B&W shirt go.
What I, and most others. are saying is that we want him to stay here and be as good as he is (hopefully playing without carrying his obvious current injury) but IF he has some bizarre alliance with the Plank, he is basically saying to all of us fans that it's Agar's way or no way as far as he is concerned.
That is very insulting to me and anyone else who wants to see our club competing at the very top level of RL.

so all that cr*p about, he'll walk if he doesnt feel he can take the club forward? was a load of tosh!!! I was very optimistic about AP getting shut of him, now im not so sure it'll happen, we may as well write off next season now, ah well, it'll save me money, passes, shirts etc etc!!! feel so let down

I like your thinking......Agar is just using the media to try and impress AP, because the fact remains his comments are not going to impress us, he is a man panicking so he is starting to rant. Interestingly yesterday I caught some of Longy's comment on RH, he was discussing his contribution at Hull and said some-thing about how calm he was at h/time talks but Agar was not, he then said but you don't know how you would react if you were a head coach under pressure or your job on the line, words to that effect.
I really like him as a player and he's our best prop. I think people are saying: 1) If Agar's as much of a genius as Ogre claims, why are results unacceptably poor for a Grade A club? 2) People don't want Ogre to leave, but if Ogre's saying they're a package, patience has run so short on Agar that they'd be resigned to seeing Ogre go too.
Spot on. If this truly is O'Meley's stance on the matter, I really can't understand it. He must either:
a) Be completely deluded into thinking Agar can make us compete for silverware; b) Not be bothered about competing for silverware; c) Entirely blame his teammates for the team's failures; or d) Is just enjoying an easy ride.
He seems far too competitive in nature for me to accept b) or d), and if it was c) I don't see how you would be willing to stay at all even if you really do rate the coach, or overlook the fact that the coach has assembled said teammates and keep your faith in him.
That leaves a), which I also find incredibly difficult to believe. Is there another possibility I've missed?

In his world, he may think that he is taking the club forward. It may be interesting to see what is written in the paper tomorrow. It could be, the 'old story' re-printed., or it may be a a non-story. Time will tell one way or the other.

lets hope its a re-print, because he seriously cant believe hes on the right track?? im just hoping AP, is just letting the season take its course, and then take action, whether thats announcing hes staying, at least that way we will all know where we stand, and he'll know we stand outside, because the crowds will plummet further if hes in charge!!
