"IF" he plays against Sts...he wont get booed by me but he wont get my support either....just silence.
That is a fair comment, don't get me wrong he was absolutely shocking the other night, in fact I can't remember the last time I saw such an inept individual performance. I just get the impression that over the whole of this season, he is the easy target to single out, when the reality is there is a much bigger problem.
Poor management across the board hamstringing the ability to improve the team for the future by tying up average players to contracts and also bringing in mediocrity (ie Thorman himself),taking the cheap option regarding head coach position.
Let's face it this season is over whether Thorman plays the rest of the season or doesn't play another game. We may make the playoffs but we won't last long in them.Sad but true unfortunately.
Thorman has a bad game and is hung out to dry when the rest of the squad have been poor all season.
The root of the problem comes with you Hull fans expecting too much from a bad squad, bad captain, bad coaching etc
TBF to Thorman he was playing ok at the start of the season so what's the differance now

He has had more than one bad game, most of them have been the same. He was superb at Odsal and was okay in a couple of early games. However in the majority of them he has been really poor, does not take the line on, when is faced with having to take a tackle he invariable kicks regardless of what tackle we are on and defensively is appualing.
We do have plenty of other problems, but that does not let Thorman off the hook.

Actually Thorman has had one decent performance the away game at Bradford other than that he's been nothing other than ordinary. However his last two peformances have been abject. I do agree with you regarding the quality of our squad and coaching.

Our season has not been ruined by Thorman I would agree but he has played a good part in our poor form. Of course the coaching needs looking at as RA and JS seem to be clueless when it comes to picking sides and employing different tactics to suit the opponents. The thing is that Thorman just looks as though he doesn't care or that he is even trying, I know he probably does care but those tackles he attempts, well you can't even call them tackles, are simply awful and right now he is too much of a liability to have in the team.
As we all know well and good, and have done for more seasons then we wanted to, a team cannot play without a scrum half. A player who will take charge in the centre of the park, challenges the defensive line and at the end of sets have a good kick which makes the opposition full back work for the ball.
Thorman does not do this by a long shot, so therefore not allowing the rest of the team to play to their full potential either.

Agreed. However, a SH no matter how good he is will struggle to do any of the above if his team isn't organised. If we want to compete with the best in SL every player needs to know their role inside out. Our set up on the 4th and 5th tackles against Leeds was none existent, no SH in the world could have triggered anything for us on that night. No attacking line, no willing runners, no dummy runners, no intensity in the kick chase, no attempt to play the ball quickly, etc, etc. That's before we even mention the defense!

We were playing with our tails up all first half, until Thorman made the stupid mistake of chipping the ball for Raynor to chase with less then a minute left, causing Leeds to score!
I woulc also argue that a SH and Vice Captian should be organising his team.

Berrigan looked as though he was trying to, unfortunately the majority of the team look so clueless it isn't funny any more. It's one thing having your 'tail up' and looking enthusiastic for the first part of the game, but when it matters you need structure and a game plan, we have neither.
