Im not sure it does, Do you believe that if Raynor was 2 or 3 years younger and we didnt have the likes of Briscoe and Hall at the club the decision would have been made right now? Raynor has had off the field problems throughout his career and I have no doubt on some of these ocassions the club would have been within there rights to terminate his contract or even if not, he has had plenty of contract extensions. I think its just a case with everything considered, his age, recent injuries, the younger players who can play his position and of course his court case probaablly the biggest factor I just feel the club think he is simply not worth having on a contract anymore and its in the clubs best interests, I dont think its a moral decision and had he had more to offer Im not sure the decision would have been made.
