I for one wish him well... One thing is for sure despite what a lot on here said he was not sacked or under any sort of investigation...Good luck Mr Rule!
I like your thinking......Agar is just using the media to try and impress AP, because the fact remains his comments are not going to impress us, he is a man panicking so he is starting to rant. Interestingly yesterday I caught some of Longy's comment on RH, he was discussing his contribution at Hull and said some-thing about how calm he was at h/time talks but Agar was not, he then said but you don't know how you would react if you were a head coach under pressure or your job on the line, words to that effect.
Indeed, to impress AP and also to make it clear he wants to stay, thus ensuring he gets a payoff even if he goes to Wakey. Agar has a lot of friends in the local press and they are no doubt bending over backwards to help him out. Pearson is simply letting Agar get on with it for the time being, if he tried stopping him doing articles like the one that's supposed to be out tomorrow then he'd might as well tell him he won't be here next season, for whatever reason he doesn't want to do that yet.
I'm still confident Agar is on his way, but this delaying isn't helping the fans and, with so many coaches on the move this year, it's allowing other clubs to steal a march on us in terms of recruitment.
lets hope its a re-print, because he seriously cant believe hes on the right track?? im just hoping AP, is just letting the season take its course, and then take action, whether thats announcing hes staying, at least that way we will all know where we stand, and he'll know we stand outside, because the crowds will plummet further if hes in charge!!
I agree with you. If he is still @ Hull then I doubt very much that I will be and I will be a few pounds richer. I will then do what many have/are doing, still taking an interest in the club but, from a distance.

Pearson, despite being at the helm for a few weeks now has refused to nail his colours to Agar's mast. Agar can pedal out what garbage he wants in the local press, with no definitive statement about his position, he must be feeeling the pressure. I personally believe Pearson is already seeking Agar's replacement.
what happends if a signing or two is announced before any news on agar?who will of made the signings, agar, noble, morgan or someone else??
There have already been some good signings in Agar's era. Briscoe, O'Meley, Fitz, Westerman, Moa. The fact is that our squad is better, a lot better, than Castleford's, yet they made the semi-finals, should be in the final after challenging Leeds far more effectively than we managed to, and are above us in the league. We're a grade A club but consistently grade C on the pitch because the coach can't marshall a squad costing the full cap to delivering as a unit on the pitch. We could announce Benji Marshall and Paul Gallen tomorrow and all people would think about is how a different coach could optimise their contribution.
If O'Meley doesn't want to take up the option for another year thats up to him. Thats his right.
He may want to play for Agar. Equally it may be that what he doesn't like is the uncertainty of not knowing who the coach will be. If we moved quickly and appointed a top coach, he may see things differently.
I can appreciate a player showing loyality and wanting to support his coach but for me the RL and sport in general revolves around playing for the club, the team, the shirt, the fans with an element of Wonga thrown in as a carrot . If this is the case then I would question if there is genuine harmony within the team and the club as I'm sure there will be a mixed allegiance in the squad. I would be gutted to see him leave but Agar following would soften the blow.
