Maybe the opportunity hasn't come along? He's quota and non-fed (I think), and it'd take a biggish fee. 3 of the current top teams have been settled at stand-off for a number of years with fed-trained players - Briers, McGuire and Pryce - though that is maybe changing. Sam Tomkins and Chase together at Wigan team would be tasty.

In the end the longer his contract the more compensation (Transfer fee) any club signing him will have to pay!

Heard one today. One signing done and dusted (sorry don't know who) to be announced next week. Followed by season pass reduction of around fifty quid for a limited time. Hope this one's true hundred quid saved for me.

Been told today we've agreed a fee for a player still in the play offs and to be announced when his club are out. Also an outside back coming in from Oz as soon as we can get rid of obst. Not a superstar name.

Also heard the one about a chunk off passes but only for about a month

Hope that's not the Jon Clarke as a loose man rumour I was told the other day.

Could it be someone like Pitts or Tuson?

Guessing it must be a back rower. wigan maybe as they're not announcing anything until they're out of the comp

They also seem to have a few for next year too, especially if that's where they see Lauaki playing and with Tomkins moving back into the pack. Hansen, Tomkins, O'Loughlin, Farrell, Tuson, and then Hock, Mossop and Lauaki. That's at least 6, probably 7 competing for probably 4 places as I can't see all of the last 3 playing prop because they already have a few there too. Could be someone from Wigan.
