We are still relying on Newcastle signing a new pivot, makes certainly a bit of a risk.

That for me is the worry that we are reliant of moves elsewhere before Clifford comes this way (if he ever does). Its odd though that Newcastle would offer him out to SL clubs but then not be willing for him to go just yet?

With news the Brooks move isn't happening its looking less likely things will fall in to place and with pre season only just around the corner I'd have hoped the club would have got a much need half/replacement for Jake in place to start pre season.

Still concerned with Mau gone at the lack of SR options in terms of size etc especially with question marks over Dre's injury record.

Think he's signed going off the HDM article and are letting the club officially announce it.

Sometimes it’s what they don’t say that is interesting. Someone asked TS about it (think it was YEP), and he wouldn’t talk about it. He didn’t deny it though, and sometimes that’s as good as confirmation.

someone on the newcastle forum saying its a 2year deal,with a clause that he can return to oz any time he wants.hope hes wrong about the clause.

I don't believe that clause at all, maybe at the end of Year 1, but don't believe he can leave at anytime

Can't keep up with this story, I hope it's confirmed soon.
