John Davidson seems to think he'll be doing the role virtually from Aus rather than moving over here

Can’t see that as he’ll need to be here for a certain period of time to see things first hand to then be able to give any input of real value.

If it’s going to be done remotely without him being involved in person initially at least then I can’t really see it having any significant benefit.

In the face of it, its a very positive step and one Clarke will hopefully be here in Hull to oversee in person.

Surely we're appointing someone who will be here day to day too?

Also, myler said we're getting a new head of performance so I wonder who that is and what the role actually entails

I think that’s the idea. Have somebody who’s day to day and Clarke will set all the programmes, work loads etc.

A superb appointment .. to appoint a current NRL conditioner is a real coup, this acquisition is on a par with a signing of a marquee player, even from afar Clarke has identified the squad is lacking in strength and speed.
Coupled with a new Head Physio, who has a very impressive CV.
Richie Myler has done a great job to attract these two individuals, to the club at this current time .
