I seem to remember it as a Gentleman's Agreement that had been sanctioned by Radford while he was in charge that the club decided to honour even though Shaul was out for the long term. I think it would have been poor to renege on that, we are talking about a man's livelihood after all.It wasn't a great decision, but the club has more honour than to do that, should have been a shorter deal though at the outset as Shaul was being called out by fans back then for basically stifling the attack.

Quite excited about Manoa Wacokecoke. The kid has some real speed, strength and power.

Max Clarke signed for Bradford.

Thought he was pretty decent the couple of times I saw him.

Yeah I am hopeful that Smith may give him some game time , because for such a young age he is quite a unit and fast too. We may see a game with a Fijian on both our flanks at some point, depending on Swift's recovery.

I think Lewis Martin would be next to play on the wing, I'd have him above Barron, every time I've seen Wacokecoke play it has been at centre, thought he might take the place of Marcus Walker in the first team squad.

Have the academy lads signed 1 year extensions? Couldn't see anything on the club site about length of deals

I was really impressed with him but I think he was no longer eligible to play for the reserves unless he had a 1st team contract because of his age.

Nothing has been reported at all about the lengths, Steveley was training with the 1st team yesterday too but no mention of him in any press either.

I read it as one year deals as signed for 2023 season.

Staverly must be under contract already, can't find any mention of him signing, big year for him, should make his first team debut if his attitude is right.
