Savelio, Lane with Fash/Cator sharing the LF role is good enough for me. We've got Lovodua who can jump in too.

If we could get a Wallace or Longstaff in to help with depth idbe happy.

We'll have limited cap space and no quota spot free. If we bring in a SR it won't be an established name.

Would rather see Carlos given a run there but Griffin is done as a centre so second row is his only option now at the club.
If he ups his workrate and changes his lazy attitude he has he size to play second row.If Tony Smith can do that then i can accept giving him a chance in the second row.
That said if the rumour of his spat with Hodgson are true then in my opinion he should no longer be at the club.

I'd leave Carlos at centre. He's far and away the best centre at the club and still one of the best in the league.

Griffin has the size to play second row and in fairness he should have moved there 2/3 years ago. If we are unable to bring anyone in maybe it's worth a punt. Also, he has a massive incentive to perform as he is in the final year of his contract.

Agree with that but I'd like to see Lovodua nailed on as our starting hooker, but with the enviable injury crises he'll be playing all over the place like he did last season.

AJ is a year younger and 5kg's heavier despite being slightly shorter, it isn't just about size, look at Jack Brown, not that big, but runs with aggression and hits hard in defence, I never thought that about Longstaff, backed up well and had a real knack of timing his runs for a kick, but can't remember him breaking the line, plus he was weak in deference, I have no idea about AJ, but their must be something in him if Hull and Cas are looking at him, add to the fact we could get him permanently rather than on loan has to be a plus too. Doesn't have to move house either as can probably commute so will be cheaper.

I don't think we will see a fee, more likely Bradford get a couple of players on loan for the year, a fringe player unlikely to play next season, someone like Litten or Barron. Could even be the Leeds based lads (Staverley and Balmforth)

Do you think Severs would be ready Dave? Or still to early for a season in the Champ?

I think Carlos would make decent 2nd row but as MB says he is our best centre by far and we would lose far more than we'd gain moving him from centre.

Griffin for me would be the ideal player to switch to 2nd row and as Bonaire says if he improves his work rate/ethic and attitude he could turn out to be a very good 2nd row and a better 2nd rower than a centre. The question is whether he can or wants to adjust his game etc.

Having watched the Jamacia game at the MKM the other week, Wallace was the one player that I came away and thought had something about him from the Jamaican side, especially considering they was against a far superior team.

AJ looks a real unit. Seen some clips of him and although not tall he’s certainly got some size on him.
Sounds like it’s just us now showing interest too as Cas and Bradford couldn’t agree a deal

Balmforth is the perfect person to send out on a season long loan, he needs to be playing week in and week out. The fact Bradford lost their starting hooker makes it mutually beneficial.

Leon Pryce heaped praise on Wallace when he was covering a game on Premier Sports and I was impressed, he has that typical Siddal aggression.

George Flannagan Jr is another really impressive young Bradford prospect.

Totally agree that some of our fringe players such as Litten & Barron need to be loaned out to get regular game time. The likes of Balmforth also needs regular game time at a higher level such as Championship level with Dwyer and Houghton likely to be played majority of the season with Lovodua.
You could also argue the same needs to be done with Staveley and Severs as they all need regular game time and at a higher level than the reserves.
