erm i would dispute that. We have a young exciting pryce - who will play fullback next season. then we have russell who is hit and miss. cogger who hasnt really pulled up trees. rumnour is we have signed lolohea and fages - you can take lolohea but we will keep fages.

I have any of those 3 in front of Reynolds or Sneyd.

We've tabled an offer for Peats according to the HDM, maybe one of Houghton or JJ are leaving? Be a good signing if we could get him, former state of origin hooker

I was thinking more Swain, Lussick, or Lee Jackson type candidate, our infatuation with Huddersfield goes on, imagine a front row of Street, Peat, and Veet.

I was around when we could attract an Australian hooker from a recent Ashes Series to come and play for us. Those were the days!

Be happy with peats signing, I'd imagine Houghton is going cause jj will be on peanuts compared to Houghton and peats won't be cheap. If they can bring in an experienced half back from somewhere that'll convince me to renew as it's steps in the right direction, just can't see who they could bring in though

Brilliant if true.

There's alot of cap tied up in the hooking role, I'd be trying to move on 2/3 out of JJ, Houghton and Shaul.

Think Johnstones a certainty. And if I had to keep one I'd keep Shaul for utility value and his speed.

To be fair he didn't stand out in a poor Leigh team, played 2nd fiddle to Liam Hood anyway. kept his starting place at Hudersfield, so obviously fared better there. All he did at Leigh was go behind a tackled player, and then pass the ball out. Not exactly a Daryl Clark or Danny Houghton.

Sounds better than Johnstone and Houghton, sometimes they can't even do that .
