Absolutely embarrassing decision to send someone off for an accidental clash of heads. What an abject mess our sport has become.

It was the first thing that came to mind, even in real time!!
I don't want to see players off for the merest thing, but where's the consistency if this is the road the game has decided to go down?

We're going to end up with 9 a-side games if this continues!!

I keep saying that it's down to the players to change there tackling techniques or suffer the consequences, but decisions like that are a mockery, probably the most pathetic red card I've ever seen.
And the thing is they'll probably review the decision and alter the new rules to apply a degree of common sense to future decisions, obviously doesn't help Nu Brown now though.

This is the problem and why the RFL need to take a serious look at what they have created along with the officials when it’s the shocking abomination of a decision that becomes the focal and talking point instead of the game.

For Carney to literally be gobsmacked he has to go to a break as he doesn’t know what else to say and Wilkin to be irate you know without doubt something is very wrong.
Pleased the mentioned the Thewlis high shot on Sutcliffe going unpunished.
