anyway, wether it is or it isn't bumpy, the opinion expressed about Covid is worrying, and even more worrying, becoming increasingly common.

Personally I think there has been an over reaction by reporting all deaths "with" Covid-19 (as I have said before), but unless they continue to announce deaths daily beyond when we reach 0 "with" Covid-19 we will never know.

When it comes someone's time to die in 20 years time and they had C-19 but recovered, will C-19 antibodies still be present...?

What we're doing appears to be working, and the gradual relaxation of lockdown and changes to behaviour and physical environment do too, in my eyes, that is a good thing.

The mud slinging, raking over the bones etc. of what was, wasn't,could, should, would have been done differently is a series of questions that we will never really answer.

For years people claimed HIV was a weapon that "got out" of a lab, only homosexual people got it etc. etc. I've been of the opinion for years that smoking does not cause cancer, but accelerates it, but cancer itself is a fault in DNA. Research into T cells and stem cells teaches us more every passing moment....

SL will be back, Amdy Last will be head coach, Kelly and Ratu will be gone, as possibly will Houghton and a few others, but there isn't a single 'wow' player who is that good an individual that we wouldn't cope without them. Watts is still the biggest miss in recent years, even he has hardly moved on to rip up SL.

It’s the use of “and/or” regularly in his posts that gives it away. Welcome back Tony, I for one have missed you 8)

How many of the 29 TfL workers, 181 NHS workers (in England) and 131 care workers (in England/Wales) who have died had underlying health problems, bonaire?

Maybe they should've just not been so fat, eh?

I dont know how many had underlying health problems but i expect several would have had and i also expect several would have been overweight.
Dont know why you are getting your knickers in a twist. All i said was there are too many overweight, fat if you like people in the UK and it would have been better to get people outdoors in the fresh air exercising rather than sitting around indoors putting on more weight from boredom eating and drinking.

Now the Test series against Australia has been cancelled is it worth making an offer to Shaun Wane, even if its just until the end of the season? I know he's previously said England is a full time job but surely that cant be the case if theres no fixtures to prepare for. Id definitely feel more confident with a character like him coaching and leading us.

While I wouldn’t disagree with Wane as the new coach, hasn’t AP given Lasty the job this season. Then again as Lasty is one of Wanes assistants, maybe a chance for them to work together earlier. :D

Don't know about hexidecimal but the poster surely meant hexadecimal which is a system that has been around for a while. I first became involved with computers in 1969 and met it then.

If the poster is indeed 'bumpy' I would certainly welcome him back unlike a few on here who had no appetite for his input, particularly his dislike of Radford.

With things how they are right now, the most sensible, and sensibly economical, decision is to keep Last and Purtill at the helm for the rest of the season. Then reassess as the campaign closes.

The squad we have is actually very strong. We had a shaky (understatement) start to the season with a few injuries, suspensions and downright appalling performances. Once everyone is fit and cohesive, this team can do much better than the first few games of the season showed. Whilst I don't see Last or Purtill as being the long term answer, the club's hand is forced somewhat by the restricted income available to them (aside from the government provided loan via the RFL) and hiring a new coach, plus Last/Purtill or paying one/both of Last/Purtill off would be financially difficult to justify just now.

Wane would be a good candidate but I feel it's a case of right person, wrong time with him. Fitzgibbon could be the right man and, if it helps him to secure an NRL job two years down the line, it could be a good move for him, but I'd expect any permanent new coach outside of Last/Purtill would arrive in time for season 2021, rather than immediately.
