Havent we been down this road, time & time again???

I predict, it will be the same style of play, slow passing, no support play, a Sneyd speculator as our main offensive weapon, and probably only turning up in the Challenge Cup..
The opposition's video analysis of our attack, must only take 5mins, as we are so predictable to defend against..

As for Connor, its a real pity, he'll probably depart to pastures new, where a Manager will have the competence to man-manage him in a more effective manner.
We only have to look at how our hierarchy, manage players such,as Lineham,Westerman,Watts and now Connor - a P45.
Probably there will be a BS promotional video, to buy season tickets, sure the playing personnel will change, but the performance of the 'team' will not.. IMO

Good post and pretty much my view. Everyone getting on Connors back for actually giving a sheet when our senior players like sneyd, Taylor and houghton just stand around like mutes when were getting hammered. No passion or commitment in most of the players

Weve already lost one of the best props in the comp because of man management issues. Let's hope we don't lose our most talented player for the same reason

A team is only as strong as it’s weakest link and for me that is the coaching side. We have had enough quality and ability in the players during Radford tenure to have done much better than they have. We are a player lead team not a coach lead one. The rate at which we fall off in performance at the end of a season is alarming. Last year Radford could hide behind the injury situation but this year he can not.
Look at the pattern of play and performances over his tenure and can anyone really hand on heart say we have improved in terms of the product in the field (not talking playing staff recruitment).
We still lack support play, we are flat both in attack and defence, our speed is slow and ponderous again both in defence and attack, basic skill set is low, discipline still a failing, end of set plays predictable (if we make to the end of a set) or totally ad hock.
This isn’t the players this is down to the coaching and what he instills into the players. Whatever is done during each training session can not be working as it’s the same old stuff in the 80 mins. Then we get the same old sound bites from same players.
In all honesty I just can not see anything changing next season other than the possible change from the influence of the fresh faces but sadly not any improvement in where it really matters to get the players playing to their potential or consistently.

Defence for me is the biggest indicator of mental strength and application and our defence is bottom 4 standard, in fact I'd say on its day the worst in the comp. Too many players not putting the effort in which to me is down to the fact that we just accept underperformance as a fact of life and there are no consequences.

We need a completely new regime which sets beter standards and holds players accountable to them.

Agreed said earlier Connor isn’t the issue or the reason the team performance has been poop. A lot seem to be blaming him and scapegoating him because of his mouth. Looking at him he looks a very frustrated player not just with himself but his team mates. As you say at least he looked like he gave a poop unlike some of the more senior players who in all honesty just went into hiding.

There are a whole number of players who have been going through the motions since the semi final defeat and not one has been held accountable by the Head coach or has he had the bottle or nous to change it.

An accusation that could be levelled at a two or three other coaches in SL.
One of whom is apparently The Messiah of coaches and who has won nothing of note.

Don’t think I’ve heard anyone blaming Connor for the defeats to be honest, I could agree on the him giving a shiiit bit, but I don’t, because his performances don’t show that he does, just his mouth. Connor ain’t the reason for the teams poor performances though

connor is no different now to how he was when we were putting 50 points on catalans or conceding 60+ to saints and wire. It's just everyone picking up on it becuase the whole team is under performing

Hence me saying the whole team and not everyone but connor.

I'd say sneyd has been much worse. He hasn't had a half decent game in months and his kicking has been shocking
