i don't think it's any coincidence that Holmes, Borough and Cust haven't been getting a game since it was announced they would be leaving their respective clubs.
All 3 where in the starting 17's pretty regularly up until then (barring injuries)
As has been said many times, Myler was having to play catch up with recruitment when he was appointed so think he's done pretty well pesonally considering he's been fishing in a small pond so to speak.
All signings ( Asiata apart) might not have the wow factor which we all crave but they are all good professional's with experience who are also good people off the pitch ( Hardaker the exception :x ) and that is massively important moving forward.

Myler has said they are just about done with recruitment and they are pretty happy with where they are going to be at the end of it so let's just wait and see who they reveal.

Just on this^^^ Does anyone actually know whats happened with Oli Holmes? Is he on loan anywhere as for him to not even make the 17 or 18 for weeks and weeks is odd, hes always off surfing and walking on IG etc so hes clearly not busy with the club at present? Just feels like an odd situation with him still being a handy 2nd rower

Surely we can get clifford back, he's not getting a look in at first team action and no contract for next year. We all know what he could be capable of in an improved team that (fingers crossed) will be coached better. Could sell the deal to him as a fresh start to player and club. Can really see this happening

Cannot see it happening, I think we need to get over that idea.

His wife is due to give birth in December and going by their social media they are loving life over there with their friends and families. Why would they want the upheaval of a third major move in three years. He has no emotional attachment to Hull either.

Abdull apparently told fans over in Catalan that he has a target weight for the start of pre season and has a personal trainer all sorted and knows what he needs to get to, so lets see if he gets to that.

As for some of the other players - Cust, Holmes, Bourouh, their lack of games will hopefully help them be fit and healthy leading into pre season with us

I do see what your saying however money talks, is he going to get a financially better offer over there? I really don't know

I remember the last overweight injury prone fullback we signed from Rovers….. Albert Kelly. Let’s judge Abdul round 1

Josh Rourke should be on our radar. Got something about him, young and would be cheap. Walker (if he stays), Rourke and Moy is a steady fullback trio

Kelly's weight did fluctuate quite a bit when he was with us, brilliant player but was a bit out of shape in the 2019/20 seasons

Hardaker spoils your argument
Ever considered they are just not good enough?

add in Hardaker and Litten and we are going full back heavy instead of hooker heavy
just wish it was halfback heavy

No, He's a halfback who can cover hooker. Im pretty certain Abdull will be getting an off season programme and that he'll have to hit certain markers by the time pre season starts.

Or what? We book him in for a gastric band and in the meantime our season ends before it starts?
