It is true about the social media post, it was doing the rounds in Lloret during the recent Catalans trip we were on. I still think BH has to be questioned about this though, he sanctioned a deal for a guy who'd been with him at Wests and had hardly played in three seasons, there must have been far better players available at much cheaper prices , salary wise and I don't think it bodes well for us if he is making further signings after this. Get Motu on the phone and plead for some of his contacts, then we may get another Carlos type who turns out to be a gem. Tongue in cheek but this whole situation and signing him in the first place just doesn't make sense, I know many people, here and in Australia, questioned the logic at the time and it has proved to be the debacle many predicted. The worst of it for me is that we are seemingly skint and have just wasted two years marquee money on a washed up has been sanctioned by our coach, who has made some very strange decisions, in terms of bench rotation and squad selection .
It is hugely depressing at the moment to be a Hull fan and there needs to be some good news soon surely?
