Weighing Everything up, I think that its very likely that he will probably never play for us again, because in addition to all the above very valid reasons he is back on the treatment table, and has only made it through 4 or 5 sessions since the end of last season. He is way off fitness and will not be until at least a couple of months into the season! He is a great player and no mistake, although he is always on the edge of controversy, but he's back in court in April and allegidly in big trouble! He's already been in trouble once when the club stood by him and I wonder if they would do it again, should the worst happen in April.



I know he is a big favourite for some but I honestly believe that the best thing that both the club and the player can do is come to an agreement and decide to go their seperate ways!!! If that were to hapen then luckily for us we have at least got a current England International to play on that wing!



Of course as always for the moment at least just my opinion!

What ever happens to Raynor , I don't think the fans will miss him that much tbh. I like the player but the last couple of seasons ,he's either been injured or completely wasted and starved of any possession.

If the worst does happen and he doesn't play for us and he does get sent down i wonder how long it will be til Hudge and Morgs are tracking him.

The thing is dave , He's 30 odd now and any decent length of sentence will put Briscoe or even one of the other young kids a great chance to cement thier place on the wing. Hudge will be welcome to him.

Get rid, he is a bad apple and did nothing last year. Used to rate him but he gets more headlines off the pitch now.

I agree wth Wilfs line of thought, it makes sense and does not presume he is guilty as some have already done. He is still a valuable member of the FC squad and he can prove deadly, playing behind a good pack and proper half backs could improve his game no end. If he was crap last year at times, then he was not on his own was he. He did however put in some good performances when others where clearly looking at there next pay cheques.





We shall see, just don't write him off quite yet

he's far too good to play for a pub team. besides i wouldn't like to see him end up over there after the service he's given us. i didn't realise he was such a bad ass off the pitch either. i hope he stays..

6 weeks is about standard for naughtyness.

I know he has been a favorite of some in the past before all his troubles, but frankly, even at his best I didn't quite see that he was anything more than a 'solid' winger.



Quite quick, big enough not to be the worry that some wingers are in defence, but perhaps lacking that spark to set the wing alight. His best try was probably against NZ 2007 when he showed real pace. There are much more exciting players in our squad who deserve a chance to shine.



If he is on his way out, I wouldn't be surprised if Nobby snaps him up. Everything I've said about him seems to make him a Nobby type player, and he picked him for GB.

Personaly I have always been a fan of Raynor. On the pitch he has done the biz I reckon,put some good tackles in for example.

I know - but it's precisely because he didn't feature that King got the 29 shirt - the last squad number.



If Raynor was similarly out of favour, I'd have expected him to get a higher number. Any club would expect the 1-13 would have a significant profile during the season, and would issue the squad numbers accordingly. Which is why I think it strange that he was given the 5 shirt if not to figure at least until the trial - Hull therefore being of the assumption that he's innocent until proven guilty and so may be a player after then, too.



If the rumours about him never playing again are true, then Hull either expect him to go down and are washing their hands, or there's something else more recent that we don't know about yet. In either case, why give him the 5 number?

Still the best winger at the club and still a very good player who any team would miss imo. If all the rumours are true then what a fool he's been.

Apparently so. It's a shame because personally I think he is still one of the best British wingers around but he has had plenty of chances so he can have no complaints.

If he has gone, then in the new spirit of openness and communication with the fans, is there any prospect of an official announcement from the club any time soon?

Said months ago that he was finished and wouldnt play for us again but as usual was told i knew nothing.

Surely we must be looking at a fair wedge of salary cap with his wage added to the amount that we already had left ?

Maybe his salary is not as big as people may think. Why else would he even contemplate doing the naughty things he is accused of, other than to make ends meat.







































I’m not really that naive

sheer greed is at the root of his current predicament. If found guilty, then he deserves everything he gets, and I for one won’t lose too much sleep over the guy.

Well if his case isnt going to court until 2 months into the new season whats so wrong with 'innocent until proven guilty' and if fit use him ?

Nothing at all, but then again there is nothing wrong with been realistic either. If he is to leave the club early, could it be a sign that they are preparing early for the inevitable?
