Towards the end of us playing at the Boulevard i always stood in the well due to my dads failing eyesight.

Some fantastic photos btw. Loved my times there with my brothers and dad.

You have some great photo's there mate. The old 1978 police photos of the ground empty bring back some memories also. It was about that time I used the ground as a playground . We were never out of the place. There was always a game going on Carrington st v Albermile St on Bombies (What we use to call Airlie st carpark ).

great times, great memories that will live on forever. I already bore my son telling him stories of the cathedral that was the boulevard

I will always remember my first time at the boulevard and will always remember the first time i heard OLD FAITHFUL in the threepenny stand. GREAT MEMORIES AND SAD TO SEE IT GO.
