we had it done. Terms agreed. Permit. Loan to wakey for michaels. Pearson. Radders. Lots of the squad wanted him. Effectively it was 1 player who's stopped it. Personally I'm gutted.
A bit torn with this one. Carney would have been a great signing, and one which would have completed our squad. But, is it really worth the risk of causing any sort of rift in the camp in such a big year for the club? Whether its one player or ten, people would start to take sides.
Hopefully this will mean Lancaster gets more of a chance of getting into the first team this year, and look how well that's worked out for Logan.
Plus, it means we can sing the Stevie Michaels Party song again.
