To be honest Dave if Houghton plays I just can not see BH spelling him as that just seems to be an alien concept its as though its written in stone he plays for 80.

I don't get the fascination with Lovodua. Played well first few games, but everyone can see he isn't much of a half, and he definitely isn't a 2nd rower.

Maybe explains why there has been no news of a contract extension other than a reference to who Hoy would be playing alongside.

Not just him obviously but Lovodua has been very disappointing of late.

Worrying that we could be going into next season with the hooker role still not sorted

We look as though we’re going down the versatile / non specialist route for the pivots.

Agree with that. Think the selections for the final games should be done with one eye on next season.

to be fair to lovodua,hes never had a settled position and is now playing in a team thats in total disarray.his form eill suffer,i still think we are lacking a genuine hard man pack leader.a lot of these south sea islander forewards are good but dont seem to have either leadership qualities or are very good when the going gets tough.

He's miles better than Houghton

Houghton only attacks when there's no one in front of him aka Friday ( and let's be honest if Darryl Clark didn't do it he wouldn't of even thought of it )

What some are saying though is that he doesn’t want to play hooker

Oh I’d definitely start planning for next season now and pick a team for the remainder of this season to reflect that.

Even if we do scrape in the 6, however unlikely that is looking, we aren’t going to win the grand final or even get close.

Not sure BH will have the bravery to do that though?
