your right ,there dont seem as much pride in the england jersey ,as the GB one ,the players seem to die for the cause when playing for GB ,i think its a farce to revert back to england ,where just trying to put more teams in the cup to give it more credabilty ,tbh i think we will struggle to beat the kiwis next week a team we wooped a year ago,may be the aussys should play as new south wales and queensland ,i know its defeatest but the aussys are 25points better than anybody else at least
You're right there Paul......If the 'New England set-up' meant that the team would have had to be totally decimated by being split up and had, say, to have a few Hull KR players( ) thrown in to make up a side, then it would never have happened  A GB side is a better option everytime. This way, we would have maybe got to see a Lebanon, a Russian and maybe even a Jap RL side have a crack. They would probably not have been hammered as England were today

Spot on that mate. I have been advocating that for ages. Viewers will think we have a game played by Neanderthals who can`t put a coherent sentence together. We need a different front man for the cameras.

But, the Aussie anthem is about Australia, our National Anthem is about the queen.

IMO opinion, Land of Hope and Glory would be a better option for us.
Do you know what Phil i played land of hope and glory on my classical cd and it sounds fantastic.
I would DEFO have it for the national anthem

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

Slater is pretty much always going to catch a kick on the full as he is that fast. It was the kick chase that was the problem.

Thought our kicking game was as poor as the chase to be honest, we lacked all round enthusiasm and class and skill and speed etc etc etc

No kicking game was a big factor in us losing the game as it handed position to the Aussies. A lack of any kind of link with the two halfbacks hindered our attack aswell. To many players performed poorly.

At 12-4 we were on top but could not convert the field position. Had we scored then it could have been an interesting game. The fact is we had to defend too much in the first 30 mins and it told.

There are no better players than Inglis, and Slater.

I thought wCalderwood was ok..the dropped ball should have been taken but after that he did nothing wrong, didnt do nothing startling either...shouldnt have been in that posistion thanks to the daft penaltys we was giving away.

You said a winger should be sound,Calderwood was barring a mistake which should have ben taken...Gardner wasnt sound at all

Hows that for you?

BTW...Would you be having the same conversation if Fox had dropped it.

I'd go with Smith and Claderwood for the next game, Gardner was useless.
