If we need a young back up halfback, I would look at Joe Mellor from Wigan, looks like they might release him.

Not sure how it effects any settling visa or citizenship etc.. But Rangi Chase married his British gf this week!

I don't think the visa is the issue any-more, I heard last night that the goalposts have been moved and Rangi wants more money

Wonder if Chase is planning a new visa application, that doesnt require a work permit

Goes on honeymoon to NZ,apply to British Embassy for Settlement/Spouse visa ,IF accepted,
work permit no longer an issue,maybe thats the advice from lawyers.

I reckon spouse visa decisions outside UK,could be 4-6 weeks from date of application.

or....

Stays in UK,makes a new visa application from within UK

Mcrae came out and said that the problem is with the player now, which would seem the visa is sorted and transfer fee sorted but either Chase has no ambition and isn't too keen anymore (wouldn't be worth having if true), or he wants more money and the club have said no we are sticking on what we agreed but it's up to you what you do and their waiting on his reply and are both playing waiting games
