thats the point and that is why if available i would take him for the duration of the season, play him and thorman, with horne at FB. if and when motu gets back then horne back to 6 and thorman to spell it with drew

id take that

gooch thats a good idea that mate but id be tempted to leave it with horne at full back and use motu as back that could slot anywhere like skinny did

More like coming here 0% .

Auntie Kath won`t have Brough back especially for £100 k .

I would hope we are not looking at Brad Drew as our next No7 .
A certain Ginger No7 has been attending our Academy games and was a guest of the Club at Salford . Maybe Jimmy is on his way back ?

Whilst it's true that Drew is a 33 year old hooker, he's also a better scrum half than we currently have. Sad, but true.

Play him at 9 and we'll go to 5 scoots and a kick - that's what he beat us with the other week. :) I'd have Drew tomorrow at SH as you say.

I'd take Brough. though rather not pay such a high fee. Think he's very good player with tremendous kicking game. As to his previous "alledged troubles" i'd say he who without sin cast the first stone. I bet everyone will forgive the transgressions Michael Croker has made that have resulted in his delayed arrival. We're giving him a chance to prove himself so we should with Brough.

Drew I'd say no even though I think he's a better 9 than Houghton and Lee. His age is against him and we have enough cover for berro including Motu if he gets fit.

We need another half back to go with Brough if he comes. I'm a big fan of robinson, though i fear if brough's linked with huddersfield they'll get rid of him to make way. We need to get in first and get whoever we feel is the best. Brough for me, though both would be fantastic, as i believe they could play along side of each other.

Brough and Robinson? That would be possibly the most average halfback pairing in the history of the world. Brough might be ok alongside a world class six, but if we have serious aspirations to be a top 4 club, we need better than Robinson.

Drew is a better player than either of them, in my opinion, and would make the best stop gap option before our big name aussie arrives next season!
