Our quota system seems to be like our UKBA system just depends on who you ask

Either way however we recruit, (impossible to say what passport they will have as we don't know who is available) the fact is we have spaces and options to play about with.

I think lauki has a new zealand passport but im sure if he applies for a tongan one, then he would count as kolpak instead of overseas.

If thats right then isnt it in Hulls best interest to get him to change it?

That would then give us the option of bringing in ANOTHER QUALITY aussie.

Which is great, as long as we use it to our advantage. I just fear we'll end up with more steady players in positions we're fairly ok in and miss out on what we really need. Are there any other NRL backrowers or even wingers off contract?

I'd love it if we went out there to sort the scrum half situation properly and brought someone like Inu back as well, I think he could really excel at fullback in SL.

Exactly. Unfortunately we just haven't had it consistently enough in recent years, as evidenced by the lack of confidence in it changing and defeatist attitude towards actually getting the names linked to us.

The trouble is the very top names won't always come accross especially when they are young. I would love to see someone like Hayne, Inu or Jennings comes over to SL to play but I can't see it happening.

If the Eels are having financial troubles then I would look at trying to get Joel Reddy, great young centre.
