Why? He wants to reassure fans he's trying his best to get quality players in. He's been transparent that this is subject to visa issues with a change in rules outwith his control, but that we're exploring all avenues to make it happen. This is not letting us down. Do you think he should have said nothing at all? For an "HFC" boy, it's odd that 89% of your posts are negative and critical in our best finish for 5 years. Why is that?

Certainly millward's comments seem to be at odds with those on here who have told us the chase deal is done and dusted

Best finish for 5 years? We came 4th under Agar.

The deal is done. Cas confirmed that before the last deadline. It's all about the visa now.
I honestly don't know where Millward is coming from.

A deal was agreed weeks ago for him to come pre transfer deadline. Doesn't mean the same deal is available now. I'd be very surprised if the clubs have any kind of agreement in place given millward's outburst

There is being transparent , but there is being OTT.
What do you think other SL Chairmen made of AP's outburst? I would be holding Hull FC to ransom if they came calling after that statement.
Adam is the greatest thing to happen to our Club for years.I have no doubt he will deliver.
My opinion is he maybe on some occasions needs to be more candid and keep his powder dry.
You say I am negative.I disagree.Having a difference of opinion is what a forum is about , is it not? I apologise that you find not always agreeing with the message board in crowd is being negative.

2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 finished 6th or worse didn't we?. Thought we finished 4th in 2007 IIRC under Sharp?

I doubt anything would change, why would it? I'll be interested to see AP's reaction to this.

I've never been convinced we will get him due to the visa issue. I do worry if we don't as Seymour clearly isn't good enough and I don't see who else is out there.
