Amor is a good player, people have to get it into their head that after signing players like Ellis, Holdsworth and hopefully Chase etc the salary cap will be tight for some positions.

The article tells lies, he's got two years left on his Wakefield deal as they signed him from us at the beginning of this season (2012), last season was a season long loan (2011). Also, they are saying the deadline passed, but it got extended until the end of the season. We're losing O'Meley, Manu, Moa and then there's McKinnon's wage. Even Crookes for Sharp and Arundel for Turner would probably see us save on the cap, I'd be disappointed if Ellis, Chase & Holdsworth (who won't be on loads) were our only high profile signing.

Only way I can see it is you have offered a fee that is alot. I cant see them letting a player go they have worked so hard for and has two years left on his deal, for a small fee. That would assume that he chosen to stay at Wakefield and not return to Leeds, then they sell him off to you.

It would seem the transfer fee is the sticking point. Pearson will pay fees but won't be held to ransom.(His own words.) So I can't see it being a massive offer.

Be disappointed if we don't get Chase, although we Brother and Biff think it's done and they are pretty good with their information.

If he doesn't come then at least we have Holdsworth and we can look to sign another halfback with a running game to complement him.
