On the Cas forum they've been bagging his pace for years. It's quite a commonly held opinion and has been even well before his back injury. Truey brings decent support play, a decent assist rate and great defence for a stand off. His lack of pace just stops him turning his half breaks into genuine breaks.

couple of things about hoy,if he does sign,it looks like its for next season.he plays either 1 or 6.if connor is fullback and hoy plays 6,where does trueman play?.thats if trueman has indeed signed.still leaves us with no number 7.im presuming gale will go.plus i thought with the immediate departure of reynolds they would be after someone for rest of this season.they may be thinking of giving hookem a go.

I would guess that Hoy's position is FB but can occasionally play 6/7. I would imagine Connor to 6 and Trueman to 7?

Trumam will play 7,

I'd like to see Hoy, Connor and Truman.

Might like a bit of organisation, but not sure we have that this year,,certainly looks much better on paper than our current 1, 6 and 7.

Hookem, Litten and McNamara to back up.

Maybe Shaul too,, crazy whoever signed him on a 3 year deal, was lucky to get 1 year.

Think that's how we'll play in Dave.

Connor can run the show, at least we would then have 2 halves who can support a break.

We brought Gale in to try and run the show and he's way past his best.

If as now seems likely Ma'u leaves we will have a quota spot left. Will we use it and replace like for like?

Unless Griffin moves to SR I'd like to see someone brought in.
