Bit of a catch 22 scenario. I think we all share disappointment at how things have been/are. We all manifest it differently.

I’m probably unreasonably negative towards the club. I say that because I’ve withdrawn an element of my modest investment to the club of late (passes and merchandise). I attend most away games, that’s it.

I accept when I whine about the club it lacks a bit of integrity because Pearson is not a benevolent sugar daddy. He’s put money in and he wants it back or a return on investment.

I’m well aware that it’s fans like me that are the biggest threat to improvement; the loss or reduction of previously guaranteed funding.

I’m actually reasonably pleased with the squad development under the circumstances and a couple of notable additions shows the club is indeed progressing despite the financial insecurity.

A good honest and quite understandable post for me!! WE are to sign 9 new players with a reduced budget and you have to consider the ecomenic scene in which we are operating. The pay back to the government with regard to covid is never mentioned by the media but it is actually affecting everyone. We now have Adam pointing that out to us lot whilst Cas have cut back their cap spend for next year and Salford have now decided they have to unload players. The Feb deadline for payback time to the Government is affecting everyone except for those few owners who simply throw money at their clubs.

Plus as he said Wilf he wants some of his loans paying back which is another bad sign of Pearsons personal financial situation.
Its a bit like the CEO of a public company offloading a load of shares because he needs the money or he doesnt see a confident future for the company so the share value takes a hit.

One quota and the another one not. I can't see how but let's wait and see.

Rumour over on the Salford forum that Wigan may allow Byrne to leave, to help with cap, as they've a large number of forwards. Would you take him? Getting on for 6ft 4 too ;)

Yes definitely would , I'd guess they'd be competion for his signature if he became available .

If Warrington sign Olam (would be a great signing) I'd definitely make a move for King or Wrench from them.

Could then either move Carlos to the backrow or look to pay him off.

Also shame we can't persuade Tomkins to do one more year.

Posters on the Wigan forum reckon no chance Byrne will leave but we are supposedly interested in Ollie Partington

From the same account that said were signing James McLean and Cooper Johns. So I'll take it with a pinch of salt

Swear people link us to every player going for the interactions. Same as Leeds
