It all seems disturbingly plausible. The wording of the release, the reasons given for acting now, the timing relative to Rule's statement, the way it's been posted and hidden on the site...

I can support the team without going to the KC, I manage it most weeks in fact.

And I haven't said I wasn't going this season, in fact I've arranged things to be able to go on Monday, and taking 6 other people.
