Why? Would have thought it's just as likely stuff is replaced as and when needed. Gum shields may well be fine for a fair while, and why break in new boots for the sake of it if you like the ones you've got?

Then there's the point others have made that he may well have personal belongings there.

I just don't see what personal belongings a pro sportsman would leave there. What do they need to take? I know that our lads bring their gear daily - boots, shields, compression etc. but that could be down to it being a shared facility.

My main reasoning for questioning was what would he take that he couldn't bring home in a sports bag? So the news channel reportedly seeing him packing his things could be him just finishing for the day, if he takes his stuff in.
It's hardly like emptying a desk, is it?

By questioning it I've completely offended Dave K, even though it wasn't even his rumour, weird

"The Channel 9 crew are there fairly often from what I've seen, and what they captured was shown on National Nine News (Qld State). It showed Prince walking out of a doorway with a handful of personal items (swimming flippers, towel, etc..) and him stating he had nothing to say."

Gripping and conclusive stuff. Could scarcely have been more compelling had he been wearing a suit in the town centre during the day.

Personal belongings could be anything, even as simple as an iPod with his workout playlists on.

It's really irrelevant, but I just find it strange that you're making such an issue over a rumour and intimating that it is suspect just because you don't think he'd have much stuff to bring home, even though you are entirely uninformed about the matter. Yes, he may have just had a sports bag with a few bits in, but if for the past 6 years he hasn't even carried that much because everything he needs is kept on site then it might well be something unusual that people notice.

So it's the nature of the stuff being carried then. Odds and ends he isn't usually seen with, I can understand why that might potentially be clearing out your junk you've previously left behind.

Still, obviously it's absolute madness that he left any of that there in the first place. He's clearly some sort of eccentric.
