Don't mean to be funny but did you not see the bit in bold on 'hull smallears' post as I would say work, financial constraints etc would be something that they understand hence the 'circumstances not withstanding' in the post and its more a case of if any of the 30K that went to Wembley and are not doing anything on Friday they are on about.
Spot on exactly what I meant. Clearly some people will have commitments that prevent attendance, but I would have hoped that we would be able to muster a good turnout for what is a massive massive match.
I've bought three extra tickets for family members who wanted to go. Know of at least 2 other non-regular attendees who are going and sitting with us, one of whom is a Rovers fan, poor lad.
I'm wary of the club bigging up the crowd though. They said "best crowd outside the derby" for the Pies game and there was less than 12K there, so it wasn't. I'm all for them selling the game, but this game shouldn't need it. If you're an FC fan and you can go, get yourself there and support the team. Watching on Sky (not just for the annoying E & S and Clarky) is not an option
Imo,the LLS should have been awarded after 23 games when we played ALL the teams and not at the end of the super 8s as all its done is prove 1 team is better in the 8s....Wigan could have beaten Widbes and be in with a chance as well but they haven't been good in the weekly rounds.
Just bought my tickets in E5. Good job I only need one ticket as it's just single seats! Couldn't get any where near where my family sit and there are usually lots of seats dotted around them.
Just ordered a singular RESERVED East Stand Ticket for a family member - was informed UNRESERVED East Stand Sold Out - The guy on the end of the phone said ticket sales were going really well, and that we should have the best gate of the season - including the Derby!!! Warrington offering free travel fro their supporters, so they should bring more than their normal support. We need to be there to back the boys!!! Lets get some circulars into the schools and local RL Clubs, cut price Junior tickets, accompanied by an adult etc..... to get the stadium buzzing Cannot wait COYH..........................

Bored to death of reading this time after time from various people.
If points were reset to zero after R23 you'd have a point, but they're not. We're still in the league stage of the season, every game since R1 has contributed to where the teams are sat now, and the excitement it generates by rewarding the most consistent team throughout the whole league season.
The flip side is of your point, is what if a team had a great R1-R23, then lost every game in the Super8's finishing outside the playoffs, it'd render the LLS as an even more minor trophy than it is now.
