Hull FC have agreed an undisclosed fee with Huddersfield Giants for the transfer of Josh Jones.
The deal suits all parties and Jones leaves the club with immediate effect.

The ‘abuse’ only started when it became obvious he was looking to get out of his contract in a very very underhanded way by using a positive covid test as a excuse to stop going to training and then getting stricken with a mystery back injury.

As I put in my edited post the ‘lingering effects’ couldn’t be confirmed by the club despite their best attempts to get him to County Road.

Jones suffered breathing difficulties and Last explained: “It’s an ongoing issue we’ve got in regards to Covid and the process of getting in the necessary lung scans.

“That process is a little bit slower than we would have hoped due to the fact there’s plenty of people looking for the same sort of treatment. He’s not suffering any symptoms but because long-term Covid is a little bit of an unknown illness we are trying to make the best of a difficult situation.”
