ileague structure doesnt help,both wigan and sts would have turned out full strength teams today if they were fighting to finish top and become champions.our stupid game would sooner make finishing top a minor event and prefer calling the team who wins a 3 round knockout cup champions.what a joke our game is.

They aren't cheating as it's within the rules. I guess they have earned the right to rest players.

What it shows though is the ridiculous play-off structure. Wigan basically gave up any chance of finishing top as they know that there is no benefit in finishing 1st over finishing 2nd.

See Navarette has picked up a ban for the headbutt on longstaff? I think it was, yet again an act of foul play isn't punished in the game, instead someone else will benefit from the suspension.

Right in front of the ref and linesman as well. Would have been crucial in a close game.

It was Longstaff. He got his retribution shortly afterwards. Within the rules.
