We certainly need at least two quality forwards for next season. Lynch would be a superb signing but I can't see Bradford letting him go and it would be stupid to pay a big fee for someone who might only play 2 or 3 seasons then retire. AP would see no return on his money.
Griffin would also be a very good signing. Either one of those and a top Aussie Ex test/soo forward would be good.
A right centre would also be nice but we might not have the salary cap to stretch that far.
Until we rid ourselves of our mediocre players, we can probably only take small steps towards winning anything. Dowes, Radford, Washbrook, Lauaki and Sharp all need to go. Along with Fitz. Long and Gleeson leaving for "other reasons". When we are in this position, maybe AP will be able to throw a little money around and make a big statement to the rest of SL.
I'm looking forward to next season with AP in charge but it is probably too soon to expect anything more than small-ish improvements.
2013 and beyond could be a very successful era though !!
