To put him in a top 10 players to try and crack the NRL is silly though. Could reel off 10 better SL loose forwards easily. Hard worker with next to no attacking output.

It's got the feeling of the sort of team a promoted side would cobble together at the last minute with what was available on the market

Big Herman has turned down a Samoa call up so that he can continue his plan to get over here on time. That's the kind of attitude I like!

Not going to sign anyone decent without paying a fee, plus we have any assets, Salford aren't going to be after Jordan Lane are they.

Have to hope we can get Shorrocks for free and a Championship backrower who is ready to step up

Really got to hope our overseas players do better than expected next year amd a couple of suprise young players step up or it will be a long seadon

Trying to be positive as possible about next season. People are quick to write Carlos off but both he and Ligi Soa will benefit from a full pre season and a fully fit Mitch will be a bonus too.

As stated previously, the pack will have more punch and if we can add someone like Shorrocks it will be a good signing.
Also hoping we can sign Cust because if he can get back tohis early wigan form then he'll be a great addition plus he can cover hooker too.

Morning all, 1st ever post so go easy on me

I've been watching FC since Brian Smith was coach when my grandparents used to take me, so have seen a fair few up's and down's over the years, that's for sure

Really interesting reading all the different views on next season, I feel the pack generally looks stronger with additional size, speed and skill although another line breaking back rower would be nice alongside a quality HB (Cust perhaps)

I would add, regardless of whoever else arrives the squad inherited by TS was never going to be fixed in one season. He has clearly started the process of reshaping however, I would think there are a few names under contract for this coming season who have question marks over their long term future. The financial situation at the club would seem to dictate more patience will be required from the fans as we likely won't be in a position to pay players off or pay fee's to bring other's in, but during my time watching we've never been a club which has been consistently good for too long, it almost feels part of being a Hull fan that you have to go through these peaks and troughs. If nothing else, it does make the feeling even better when the club does taste some success.

Anyway, Hopefully a couple more good signing's to come and wet the appetite for next season!

Another first time poster long time reader.

I wouldn’t be getting overly excited about any remaining signings, the French lad on trial will be the forward we are signing and we are struggling to find a half back.

I am hoping Cust might be a realistic target, I think he would improve us for sure. The club may also have other overseas or domestic names in mind potentially?

Another wide running BR would be nice, but perhaps TS is keeping in mind the potential he see's in Staveley, Severs & Jebson? It's clearly the clubs aim to promote youth and he may be wary of blocking the route through to 1st grade for some of those promising young players?
