On the SR debate i wouldn't be surprised to see us experiment with different players throughout the season. Okunbor will be one, but we could us Diakhate, Ashworth, Lane, Scott, Carlos, Staveley, Jebson for the other spot.

I just think you're being negative for the sake of it now.

Unless we have some catastrophic injury run on the wing, he'll play in SR.

We've got Tindall, Mcintosh, Litten, Barron, Martin. Plus Scott and poss Mitch to play wing

thats not negative to say i think Okunbor will play part of the season on the wing its an opinion.
He is big, strong,tall and apparently has some pace and given our last tackle option is a kick to the corner thats ideal.
To say our current second row is pants is being kind when you compare it to most other S/L clubs
Tindall,Mcintosh,Litten and Barron are all lightweights

It's an option, but a poor one.

Don't think Tindall is lightweight, Martin or Mitch aren't either.

I think the outside back will be the lad we had on trial last season, seemed to do well.

Great Interview with Adam he made the fact that we are actually spending just over the £2.1 m cap limit with home grown players very clear and the fact that it is other clubs who are spending even more because of marquee players. Also interesting about the outside back who sounds as if it might be someone who's just become available. Also interesting that the stadium costs us £1m a year too. Watched the season ticket video too, that bloke Dan Tomlinson gets around a bit doesn't he!! Remember the year Gollum did it

Must admit his frequent silence sometimes rubs me up the wrong way, but when he does offer himself up you always get a sense of honesty and integrity.

It would be quite easy to mask and sugar-coat things. He doesn’t do that. I admire the fact he is keeping us at cap despite the obvious financial challenges.

I’m not being naive; he’s a business man and to secure investment or a sale he needs a product/asset that is stable, competing and sustainable. To that extent he has no choice but to double down and keep Hull at a particular level. He’s doing that and I recognise it.

I think most are adjusting expectation to something more realistic now and continuous improvement is all I hope for.
