Sadly for Salford that ground isn't what was promised and it's poorly located. On the initial renders it looked like a slightly smaller MKM, they ended up with 3 basic stands and 1 better one and have lost the 'walk from the pub/terraced house' crowd.

Selfishly Salford losing players helps us in our quest for 6th but I remain very worried about the future of RL, clubs are dropping like flies.

Looking on Rugby League Project, Brown has played a lot of 13 - be good to see him there for us at times during the season. Slightly concerned about our number 7 scenario - is Medforth anywhere near?

I imagine Brown will start 7 until Trueman is back. Smith as understudy. Harman will be ahead of Medforth atm.

The Mole seems to think Salford are going to try and sign Hastings from Newcastle .

Hastings has denied that earlier today.

Aren't we after a centre/secondrower, Kallum Watkins would be nice.

Stone would be better younger and better all round 2nd row than watkins

Willows was far and away better than their new ground

Problem is lower league 1 clubs are basically amateur clubs amazed they've lasted so long to be honest esp the ones away from heartlands

He will play hooker when Trueman is back. Until then he’s the best option at 7.

He’s started more games in the halves than he has at hooker. Safe to say he’s very capable in both.
