No way, been awful last 2 years, would block the way of younger players too. If we use any cap should be on a centre or backrower.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Definitely wouldn't touch Widdop, he was pretty poor at Warrington and not any better at Cas in a side that you'd have expected to see him be one of the big performers.

Jeez we have some moaners on here. For me Smith has started the long road back positively. Yes there's still a way to go. But next year's squad looks so much better. Rome wasn't built in a day.

*Not signing rumour*

I've heard that we may be getting out own stadium soon. When I say soon, about 2 years away from confirmation.

Whether that's a new one paid by AP and other future investors...or a smaller council built stadium, I don't know.

AP has said 'if I can get us through the next 6 months, things look really good going forward'

Obvs we know that is down to the COVID loan repayments.
He also said negotiations for renewing the lease at the MKM stadium would start in about a year and take about a year to sort out. So is this just a rumour, try to get the price down further on the 'rent' or is it viable?

Just a thought after hearing some whispers about it

The MKM is a great facility, as AP alluded to, it was chosen to host the Grand Final during COVID due to this. However as most Hull fans would agree I would love nothing more then for us to have a place to call our own.

It just poses so many hard questions to answer, where would it be? who would pay for it? AP seems to think our relationship with SMC is the strongest its been, so would suspect a new deal at the MKM is the odds on favourite.

Id love the rumour to be true, however I feel like the MKM will be our home for quite some time.

Hope you are right but I can’t see it.

Fingers crossed.

I guess it's down to the length of the lease , If AP negotiates say a 10 year lease ,Then that would quash any rumour of us moving out the MKM .
I also would love to have our own stadium .
