Cracking business from Salford for me. Hooker the issue but if they sign Powell as well they should be buzzing. Or an Aussie half to use cust at hooker

300k, Powell/Johns, Cust > Ackers, Croft.

fans are very emotional but if reinvested well this could be the making of Salford. I expect 1-2 tough seasons for them. I’d rather they or Cas go down than London if I’m been honest.

Mitch has extended for another year.
Happy with that from a depth perspective. Showed some good stuff when he's played.

Happy with Mitch getting a 1 yr contract. Good cover and if has a good pre season could be pushing for the 17

Good news , Hopefully we get to see more of him next season with a chance of a decent run in the first team .

Pleased for Mitch
Bit underrated by some fans but is very strong,decent pace and has a good defence.
Will get plenty of first team games next season

My concern before last season started was our back row.

It's also my concern at this time for next season.

We need to sign a champion player in the back row. That's all. If we get that then we'll do OK and probably make the top six. We're fine in all other positions. We'll get by with what we've got. But we need a champion in the back-row.

I agree
The weakenst second row in S/L if as likely we run with Lane once again.
Filling in with a front row is not what we should be doing when its been and still is such a weak part of the team.
