I want him to stay but if he left we would have Heremaia and Obst so would not be short. Local player thought so would not like to lose him but could understand him wanting to go to the NRL.

That said after Agar's comments about him yesterday and Danny's recent comments it does not sound like they are on the verge of a release.

in regard to mention of a new forwards, I think Aldous will be ready after his spell at York, and anyone know if Burnett wants to come back from his loan? Those two could provide adequate cover in the pack I guess, same with Kent

Hame is on a big wage from what I've been told and Fitz and long won't be on peanuts, I can't see heremaia, McKinnon and Seymour (if he signs) coming close to the combined wage of those three !
