Ellis is without doubt in the top 10, but I definatly don't think he's in the top 3.
T-Rex is great but not as good as those thre,, Dave Taylor I prefer at prop and Watmough is lethal in attack but poor in defence. Like I said the three I mention are the top three in the world imo.
Whether or not Ellis is in the top ten backrowers in the world I don't know (and to be honest I really don't care). What I do know is, he is a quality player and I'm delighted that he'll be wearing B&W next season.
Can someone explain to me what is meant by 'having impact' or being an 'impact forward' (preferably without using the word 'impact' in the explanation)?

I love impact. I've no idea what having impact is, but I love it.
Ellis won't be playing against the likes of Thaiday, Lewis, Slater,Smith, Cronk, etc. So if it means only been the best back rower (or top 3) in Super League, then that's definitely good enough for me.
